It kicked off in 1899, when it was originally Kingston Technical Institute, a humble abode that had a mission to uplift the local folk through education. And what’s more surprising? The first batch was a motley crowd of just 34 students! Can you believe it?
Fast forwarding, in 1951, the institute got its growth spurt and transformed into Kingston College of Technology. Like a teenager hitting puberty, the college took a mighty leap in the right direction.
