In the grand year of 2002, two ardent musicians decided to do something groundbreaking. The passionate duo, Geoff Hemsley and Darius Khwaja, resolved to place their imprint in the music industry. Bubbling with talent and expertise, Khwaja had multiplied his credibilities by pouring creative energies into numerous arts ventures on a freelance basis. This collaboration breathed life into an institution of their dreams, known today as the London College of Creative Media (LCCM).
This blossoming flower in the music industry has been true to its aroma; always focusing on teaching the intricate aspects of popular music and shaping students for the real challenges of the industry. LCCM specialized in crafting artists for the global stage.
However, just like any long-standing, artistically-rich institution, LCCM has faced its shares of challenges. The year 2017 marked a turning point in the history of this college. The institute moved its musical hub to The Music Box in SE1, a purpose-built, ultra-modern campus situated on Union Street. This campus replaced one of the original LCCM buildings, marking a significant evolution of this esteemed institution.
