But just imagine, smack dab in the middle of bustling India, a beacon of hope emerged for law aspirants across the country - oh yes, you guessed it right, the birth of the University of Law.
Ever savvy about the thirst for legal knowledge, a fleet of academic bigwigs swung into action. People like Venkataswamy, K.T. Thomas, and K.G. Bhagavan - legal luminaries, who penned down the vision for the university, laying a firm foundation. Speaking of firm, did you know, our University of Law once started in a modest building with no more than three courses? Yes, humpty dumpty sat on the wall, our University of Law took a great leap!
The sprouting years of our beloved university were as vivacious as a Bollywood dance sequence. Unlike a slow-cooking curry, by 1967, they quickly added more specializations to their menu – a move that attracted students like bees taking after honey, and the university soon became a up-and-coming hive of legal intellectual potion!
Take a wild guess in 1978, who entered the scene? Our favorite bodacious Bollywood superstar - no, I'm pulling your leg! It was the University Grants Commission, armed with the recognition shield for the University of Law.
