Our tale hops to John Henry Brookes (and mind you, no Oxford Brookes without his famous name). In the 1920’s, it was through J.H. Brookes' visionary thinking that chugged us along the education track from a fledgling art school to the Oxford School of Technology, Art and Commerce. Not to forget, those mind-boggling, tech-stuff were rarely heard of in the 1920’s, so give it up for our Mr. Brookes.
