And way before Tesla, Elon Musk was even on the scene, we were pioneering agricultural science and seeding the fertile minds of students!
A fella named William Macbride Childs, now here's a man with a vision. He took over the reins of the college in 1896 and under his dynamic leadership, it began to develop its own identity. Now, you may not think big of a bloke named 'Childs' but hey, it's the man who took us out from the shadow of Oxford, made us a big shot in our own right.
