Wait, let me take you back to the beginning, the UK was stuck in ol' tradition, and just needed a fresh wind of revelation, that's what birthed Regents!
So, our main hero in this historical melodrama is the ever so charming Reverend Harold Horton. Horton was not your typical 'sit on the couch and sip tea' kind of a man. Oh no! He was a progressive thinker, someone who understood the need for academics to meld with faith, he wanted to “seek wisdom from above.”
You see, Horton had this spunky vision to establish an institution that would focus on Pentecostal theology. And so, he did.
