Looking upon a passionate vision of women's education, they were ambitious to establish an elevated learning center. Their dream in 1947? None other than Rosary Hill College, a dedicated haven for women's liberal arts.
Life as they knew it was rapidly changing, around the mid-1960s, something unusual happened. Rosary Hill College began to warmly welcome men, transforming into a cozy educational destination for both sexes. By 1965, they lifted the graduation cap off their first male student. And what a jubilant moment that must have been!
Adapting with the tides, 1976 saw Rosary Hill College do something extraordinary. Deciding to step outside its religious lineage, it embraced secularism and independence. Remember Mother Magdalene Daemen, the legendary founder of the Sisters of St. Francis?
