Bang on, it all jumped the gun in the year 1898, with Mary Kimball Morgan, a lady brighter than a polished diamond and twice as sturdy. Talk about rocking the cradle - Mary, a forward-thinking educator, had nothing but an inkling of an idea and a vacant building in St. Louis, Missouri for starters. Dropping a coin in the wishing well, the Principia School came into existence.
Over time, Mary and her team slowly but surely expanded their educational offerings. Finally, in 1934, Principia College swung the door wide open and welcomed its first class with nothing but open arms and a promise of exceptional quality education.
