A legal and medical school, this fledgling phoenix was flying high right from the get go.
Cut to 1846, swift winds of change, you see! They added a bit of what we now call "liberal arts" to their repetoir, making room under their wing for just about anyone with a thirst for knowledge. Yep, this was the first sign "UofL" was truly taking off and soaring to new heights.
