Established by two tremendous women, Carolyn Manuszak and Sister Kathleen Feeley. What started out as Villa Julie College, a part-time junior college for parochial high school graduates, has since grown into a fully-accredited, bachelors-degree-granting institution - all thanks to our fearless leading ladies.
Did you know? In '70s they made an unexpected move. Yeah, they did! They challenged the traditional norms and started admitting men into the college. And guess what, it paid off! The place soon shifted gears and started offering full-time degree programs, like Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, and more. Oh, and by the way, the medical-assisting program was the cheesecake – first of its kind in Maryland!
Fast-forward to the '80s, - the era of big hair bands and moonwalk. The college was hopping on one foot to the another. It started granting 4-year degrees, even moved its campus out to greener pastures in Greenspring Valley.
