The story of Pace University harks back to 1906, when two bright-eyed brothers Homer and Charles Pace proposed a business school in New York. Looping back to that time, not many believed an investment of 600 dollars could bring about a change, but the Pace brothers believed in dreaming big, and dream big they did!
Homer, who was a certified public accountant, was the brains of the operation, while Charles ran the school on the daily, creating a stratagem that, to our amazement, worked like salsa on nachos. Picture about 13 students huddled in one room at the beginning, furiously insisting on laying down a profitable business framework. Hard to imagine? Well, that's how Pace started its journey.
Then came World War I, flipping the world on its axis. The Pace Institute, as it was called then, danced along to the tune of time, laying emphasis on teaching industry-specific courses and churning out experts who made a difference. The door to opportunities was opened wider for many, producing graduates equipped with the skills to help rebuild the country post-war.
