Leading them is a determined Sister called Decourcey, who, along with her colleagues, the Sisters of Mercy of Portland, has just broken ground on a project set to change the course of history. Sister Decourcey's vision? To establish New England's first Roman Catholic post-secondary institution for women.
This zoopin' idea sure puts the kettle on to boil; and just like that, the Saint Joseph's college was born. Over the years, the college fought tooth and nail to uphold the values of faith, excellence, integrity and community, and created a bevy of skilled women to contribute to the society.
