Because back then, the university was quite the "tiny tot". Forget robust faculties and fancy buildings, this seed of an educational hub was birthed with just 24 young chaps, striving to learn!
Now here is where stuff hits the fan. The Mississippi river, the tearful mamas and papas back in India probably get more details about, decided to play spoilsport a little early in the game by causing a financial downturn that had the university gasping for breath - ugh, the nerve!
