Established in 1985, follow me on a journey to Oxford Business College, or OBC as us insiders like to call it. This isn't your everyday run-of-the-mill school. Think Hogwarts meets business; a magical mélange of maths and marketing, finance and foreign trade.
Oxford smiles down on our trailblazing founder, Mr. Kapila Silva, who introduced a thrilling concoction of academic brilliance and business acumen. He thought of this perfect recipe while sipping his morning chai, we think.
Yet the OBC wheel of fortune couldn't spin right off the bot. The college had to first weather a few stormy seas. In the early days, OBC had only three classrooms; small but housing big dreams. A student could shake hands with every single person on campus, figuratively, of course.
Student facilities? Back then, we'd laugh and dream of student facilities. Honestly though, it was a starting point, a kick-off; our humble beginnings gave us the grit and determination to aim for those stars in the academic sky.
Our growth trajectory boomed like Mumbai on Diwali night from 1996 onwards. Buildings? Check. Classrooms? Check. Modern student facilities that promised wider smiles? Double check! We were doing more than humming along now; we were singing a success tune at the top of our lungs!
